I have to stop reading into things and deciding I know what people are thinking and feeling and then responding based on that assumption instead of just simply trying to talk to them to ascertain what they're actually thinking and feeling God why is it so complex

It's like here is what's actually happening, here's what we think is happening based on an emotional response, here's how things have got more confusing because we've taken our assumptions as truth and now no one actually knows what happening

Emotions add a layer of complexity to any given scenario that I just cannot deal with lol

And I see other people do this all the time and then misunderstandings and miscommunication spirals the situation out of control and I tell myself that won't be me and I won't do it that way and then I do.
