Labour in government

People criticise the government's comms....but a lot of the time I think people are just not seeing those comms.

So I'm putting together a list of social media pages across different channels for government and Labour party comms.

I listened to him the other night and he was clearly anti Labour. I have no problem with criticism of the government but it needs to be fair and balanced and not a gotcha hatchet moment. The media needs to start taking some responsibility or we will end up with Trump mark 2 in control here.

I don't think it matter what Comms come out, the media are only interested in gotcha moments and bashing Labour. The media moguls want Farage in power and will stop at nothing until they get their way.

I'm not an American but am desperate for as many people as possible to attend. Just to give me faith that the average American can see Trump and his administration for what it is.

Whatever he does he is always in the wrong. Last night on LBC he was too pro Palestine and had abandoned the Jewish community. On Bluesky he was a Jew lover and had supported genocide. He can't win.

Sadly with the fulsome support if the British media we are heading full MAGA in the UK. The level of misinformation spread about the current government is off the scale.

I hope you are right but it's very easy to say wonderful things in opposition.

They are in their honeymoon phase. If the media considered them a genuine threat they would turn all their barrels on them. Then we could see how they perform.

My point is free speech activists have hijacked the Palestinian cause. They are showing mock outrage at their arrests, knowing what they are doing. How is that helping Palestine. The mosque in my area has police outside. Thankfully they had some availabile, but no thanks to the activists.

They were arrested for supporting Palestinian Action not for supporting Palestine.

Police time was wasted because people protesting free speech conflated it with supporting Palestine. Marching in support of Palestine won't get you arrested.

I know why they are protesting but to conflate it with support for Palestine is disingenuous. They are jumping on the support for Gaza to get support for their cause.

Really not helpful. Of course he isn't beyond criticism but could you just not allow a small widow of praise amongst the torrent of vitriol sent his way daily. Have you seen the Mail's headline today, they are MAGA in UK form.

Sadly the same is happening here in the UK, with people thinking Farage is the answer.

I'm sorry I have to disagree with you here. These people are deliberately provoking and wasting police time. You can be passionate about supporting Palestine without using the words Palestinian Action. They know what they are doing.

As a white agnostic, married into a Muslim family, I can only say this is absolutely nonsense. I'm a minority where I live but nothing stops me eating, drinking, celebrationing & wearing anything I want to.

I've never said that Starmer and the government are perfect, but to suggest they have no socialist policies is absurd. You sound like a reform supporter who only believes what they want to believe. And goodbye back at you.

So you don't think bringing train companies back into public ownership, heavy investment in NHS, education, building more social housing, expanding free school meals. The increasing of tenants rights, the improvement to workers rights. Private schools paying VAT are socialism.

I think the left has also done a great job in being so impatient and expecting perfection immediately. We never help ourselves with our constant attacks. We pretty much have an entire media landscape against us but we still put the boot in.

It will spread panic to anyone who respects democracy,honesty, integrity and isn't racist and sexist.
