Usually I only see turtles sunning in the pond but we found this guy just off the trail digging in the sand! (He had plenty of space I just zoomed in with the camera)

It finally stopped raining long enough to go outside today!

A vibrant purple and orange nudibranch stands out in a tidepool of more demure red algae

Got to visit one of my dad’s favorite spots from when he was in college - the tidepools at Dana Point - and found my first Spanish Shawl nudibranch 🥹
