I remember watching this segment on the news and thinking "Wow, this is actually quite good. Any minute now he's going to mention the cause of the climate change." but no, he didn't ☹️

Unusually for Australia, he actually emphasises Climate Change and not just weather extremes though.

Sulphur dioxide (SO2) would be part of the sour gas removal and disposal circuit, which also separates and vents CO2 contained in the raw produced gas. Separated H2S is typically converted to elemental sulphur for sale, via the Claus process, which produces SO2 as an intermediate product.

Rock is a fair bit heavier than water, so there's that. I'd be trying to locate it over a joist/bearer junction to be sure no weird buckling happens in an adjacent area.
