One of the annoying aspects of mania is knowing that even if you do/get/whatever the thing you're fixating on, it won't actually make you *happy*, it's not like "wanting" something. You'll just feel less frustrated. (But then annoyed by yourself over wasting time/money etc.)

For various reasons everything failed to charge overnight and it's both very annoying and feels like a commentary. (It's fine, I can plug them in now.)

This is a photo of 3 greeting cards reproduced from my linocuts, printed in red. They feature a robin, mistletoe and a holly sprig respectively. They are lying on a wooden table with natural objects, including fir cones, dried flowers and berries in a glass bottle and some twine.

A digital portrait of Aquilops americanue - a small herbivorous dinosaur, related to triceratops. It has a small boney frill behind its head, with tiny quills sprouting from it. Its beaked jaws have a distinctive spike jutting forward, which may have been used to forage for food.

The real “Dolores”? I was recently commissioned to create a pencil sketch of Aquilops - a dinosaur which I’d never really paid proper attention to. In the l course of my research I became a bit obsessed and felt compelled to also create this more detailed illustration as a personal project.
