I'm so sorry. I've been trying to take photos of tangible items so I always have that memory even if I lose the item or start running out of space. I hope you've been able to write down lists of the various things you've lost so that you still have something to spark the memories that they held.

I can't remember if I've said this one before. But I like being a "regular" at local places. At a local ice cream place I'm known by name...but also as "the affogato guy."

Tangible little things are great! I've got movie stubs going back to the 90s.

I sign up for vaccine research studies as often as I can. I'm sure I have ended up in the placebo group a few times but I might be vaccinated for RSV, CMV, and Ebola.

So, often when you read books where someone dislikes some system, e.g. education, tax, etc. they do this thing where they compare a current system with all its flaws to some old system they consider better or some new system they have hope for.
