Who decides that and why do they get that power? The media? The government? The viewing audience? What rises to the level of “bad behavior?” How do you define that? Who gets to define that? I just don’t understand why we as a society are ok with it.

Their professions are based on being on different kinds of stages. That is what they are paid for: an actor on a stage or on a screen; a professional athlete on a field or a court. Honest question: why should they have to offer up the rest of their lives to the public?
