I've heard from people that knew @fetterman.senate.gov before he went to DC, and by all accounts he was a unique and beloved leader, with the best intentions.

However, these intentions were inadequate defense against a wicked political movement that would corrupt a mentally unwell man.

Earlier tonight (Sunday), Judge Immergut issued a second temporary restraining order preventing the use of any federalized National Guard troops in Oregon - at least for now.

The temporary order was issued today by Judge Karin Immergut, blocking the federalization of the Oregon National Guard until at least October 18th. The battle isn't won in a day, but small victories are.

Oregon’s challenge to the federalization order is on a fast track. The federal response is due Thursday afternoon, with a hearing scheduled for Friday morning. The case should reinforce the obvious truth, that military force has no place on Portland’s streets.

Title 32 keeps the Guard under state control but sends the bill to Washington, pumping federal cash into one of the most corrupt state budgets in the country.
