The Republicans have made their position all too obvious over the years.

The second half—the return of Mars—I had to lie on the frozen ground so I could comfortably watch for it. At 10:42, Mars slipped into view over the limb of the Moon. Happily, at that moment, there wasn't a cloud in the sky. However, my phone's battery drained out just before Mars appeared!

Finally! After over 45 years, I have caught an occultation! The Moon passed in front on Mars last night (2025/01/13). Of course, just as it began clouds moved in which meant getting a picture of the actual moment went out the window. Happily, I could still see it with binoculars through the clouds.

For the record, I have done this.

A complete, visual mishmash in constant motion, completely enhanced by a never-ending cacophony of overlapping noises. voices, and ringing alerts with the addition of random objects popping into one's path.

My brain has officially broken! (BTW: ALL of this is in motion!) (This is so much like real life!)
