Finally back home. Got to see some really good panels at #lightbox even for the short time I was there it really inspired me. I’m looking forward to a better experience next year

So I had the bright idea of trying to attend #lightboxexpo this year. I live across the country so I sat down and planned this months in advance and let me tell you my experience with airlines has been terrible so far. I’m heart broken that I’ll be missing most of the weekend because of this 😭

part of my thesis at my university is to recast a live action script, I chose the Mummy 1994. I decided to recast Brendan Fraser's character Rick O'Connel as Dpharaoh Woon-A-Tai from reservation dogs and reset the script as a sci-fi western. It's been working out pretty well

Just got back from a trip where I got to be an extra on a larger film. 2nd film I’ve done where I was an extra.

It was cool being able to understand what the crew was doing. I really liked seeing the things I’m learning applied in real life.

On a different note thanks to my much more tech savvy bro for helping with the dns.

I was able to understand it thanks to his assistance. I never want to deal with this again.

Spent the last few weeks trudging through the awful chore of rebuilding my portfolio website.

I absolutely abhor website building and coding. When I was younger I was enrolled in classes that involved that and hated it.

I still hate it but at least something decent came from it.

I'm in a digital painting class this semester so I've been doing a lot of these... Nothing particularly exciting but... I'll be honest I really need a nice easy semester after the last one! 😭 I got hit with burnt out so hard...

Classes started up again today, got scheduled for a new story boarding class and digital painting. I'm excited to see what I come up with for these classes!

TikTok being “back” doesn’t matter to me. I already moved out man, you can’t extend the lease at the last second after being bought out by some property management company

Well TikTok is finally down. And I’ve deleted the app off my phone, even if it does come back idk if I’ll be willing to redownload it

Of all the hills these people choose to die on, this is by far the strangest. Skeet is a terrible word. It's derivative and honestly a touch heavy handed. Calling them posts is just fine, we can think of a new themed phrase later. It'll happen naturally.

There's plenty of great sites out there but if you're feeling lazy and don't care to heavily about the quality windows has a default app called snipping tool that is able to capture both video and sound on your screen. Not perfect but it works.

as some others said it's probably auditory processing disorder making things hard for the both of you. Feminine voices can be harder to hear out sometimes. It's not that you didn't hear that they spoke per se but more 'word salad' like you described here

With my face blindness someone changes their shirt and I'll have no idea who they are. I used to work at an animal clinic when I was younger. The holidays were a real event! I ended up going home with two large bags of gifts from the office. Every other job I’ve had has yet to compare to that! 🥰

I just remembered that my university allows professors to leave comments on progress grades and I-- 😭 My color scripting professor is SO nice!

Recovery from stressful situations can take a while. Though the 'stressful' part of recent events for you is a bit of an under statement if I'm being honest. Anyway, your body is trying to repair itself and get back to it's normal. It might be good to listen.
