Personally, I live in the small town where I teach. I love seeing my elementary students at the grocery store and having former HS students check me out! Sometimes it’s fun to see kids when I’m out with my family, but it can be a bit much sometimes.

Ok #EduSky, here’s a fun question: Do you live where you teach, or not? What are your pros and cons of both? I bet it also makes a difference what age level you teach!

I’ll start with my answer below. Looking forward to your thoughts on this!

Oh, and I now understand why my dad spent so much time in the garage. The kids were playing inside and it was peaceful…

Guys I cleaned out the workshop side of my garage today. I don’t use it for anything, but someday I will. Probably.

As someone who has paid significant attention to dialogue and “plot” in FromSoft games, I have no idea how they’re going to make it a movie that anyone other than nerds like me will enjoy.

I will give $10 to whoever brings me a $9 bottle of wine from the store down the road.

Someday, my children will be old enough that we can bring them to a water park and just say “go, be free.” On that day it is I will who will truly be free. And that is when I will rest.
