A goose barnacle cluster. A round floating object created organically that is similar to styrofoam floats on the surface, and each barnacle is attached to it by a stalk, with the end resembling a bivalve shell. Their cirri, or very thin feather-like legs, are sticking out. Dialogue from each barnacle reads; Are we there yet? I'm hungry. You took a wrong turn. No I didn't. Can I have the aux chord? We missed our exit!

This funky looking creature is a goose barnacle. It is actually multiple organisms that congregate on flotsam who spend their lives drifting at sea, as opposed to their homebody barnacle relatives.

It happened again

A small six-legged, colorful creatures ventures across some bark, where translucent and delicate white mushrooms sprout out.

This springtail has six legs, two antennae, and a colorful pinkish-red, yellow, and green-ish patterning.

Lots of springtails crawl among the bark in between the white translucent mushrooms. The springtails are much smaller than the mushrooms and can be difficult to spot because they blend in quite well with the bark.

Ah, to be a globular springtail adventuring among towering fungi.
