That cynically funny

in honor of various "fan lyric" videos to instrumental songs that never had lyrics, here is my own "fan lyric" video for my favorite cartoon theme song, the 50s BARNEY BEAR intro

I also dislike the idea of remaking old movies to “update” them. At that point, you aren’t treating films like works of art, you’re treating them like products that need to be periodically fixed or upgraded, like junky old software. To me, it’s an anti-art attitude.

Animation is a caricature of life, not a lesser imitation of it. Remaking cartoons in live-action, or giving the characters realistic proportions, hairs, warts, etc., robs them of the stylized exaggeration that made them appealing in the first place.
