It may look like it's been shot in black and white but it really is built of just 4 colours. I chose the Spooky Girl and Spooky Boy Collectable Minifigures for this week and, once they were on my table, it seemed the obvious thing to make the scene match them, colour-wise. It was a fun challenge!

A smallish(ish) Lego diorama of an overgrown cemetery. There are several gravestones no longer upright and the plant-life has taken over somewhat. To the front of the scene a rather Wednesday Addams figure sits on an ornate bench, holding a distressed teddy bear in one hand, looking solemnly towards a similarly spooky boy who approaches with a nervous expression, bearing a bunch of flowers. The ground rises a little, in the background, into a knoll crowned by several gnarled trees. Lurking among the graves, apparently unnoticed by the spooky lovebirds, a ghostly figure in tatters and chains watches surreptitiously, perhaps remembering a long-lost love of his own. There are squirrels and owls, crows and maybe other small wildlife dotted around the place. The entire scene is built using only four colours: black, white, dark grey and light grey, to match the minifigures. All images embiggenate, including the 4-pane ones.

It's #MinifigMonday and, for entry no. 10 (!), the theme is love, if a little twisted and monochromatic. Spooky Boy and Spooky Girl have a date in the haunted old cemetery. It wouldn't matter if it was the purest gold on the planet - it still looks crass and desperate, a pathetic attempt to impress the ghost of Fred living in his head. And, having seen other, closer views of some of this trash, I'm not at all convinced it's real gold.

They're steadfastly determined not to do anything that benefits the majority, that people want. Instead they're chasing the Reform vote and losing everyone who voted for them in the first place.

Not 💯 happy with the windows - the wall length and quirks of Lego geometry when using SNoT tricks didn't quite align how I wanted. But this may become a modular, so it may be better with a bigger footprint. Idiot me can't just do normal, easy-to-build windows 🤪

A lady in a smart blue suit with an Afghan hound, a man (Raj Koothrappali from the Big Bang Theory Ideas set), and an Asian boy, wearing a shirt that says 'Love is Love' in rainbow colours, who looks very pleased to have found some gourmet chocolate.

This week, for #MinifigMonday we're visiting the corner deli, maybe grab a fresh bagette, a nice wedge of Swiss cheese, some gourmet chocolate and a bottle of wine, if we're feeling extra decadent. The proprietor is actually the Hot Dog Vendor from 71018-6.
