We now have parents no longer visiting their hospitalized babies/children at my peds hospital due to Minnesota's ICE problem. It's just devastating. To the kids, to the parents, to us as nurses. 💔💔💔

Not an exaggeration at all to say that the feeling in Minneapolis is that the entire metro area is being treated as occupied territory by federal agents. Impossible to overstate how overwhelmingly people here do not like it. This does not feel sustainable.

We evacuated our kids out of Minneapolis this weekend and my spouse reports that as she drove them out of town she saw "multiple freeway exits where people are being pulled over." It feels like the Twin Cities is being subjugated by a hostile occupying force.

It's a sham investigation since the FBI won't allow BCA or other local agencies to participate or see/have any evidence. They won't even file charges. It's just sickening

As someone who lives in South Minneapolis where this occurred, I have been absolutely SICK today over this. It's far enough away that I wasn't nearby, but would absolutely have ran to give aid if I was. I can't imagine how that doc is feeling tonight. 😢😢
