I flew down to south Texas today to do my job - investigate why people are dying in ICE detention centers.

I was just illegally denied entry to Dilley Detention Center. Because they have something to hide.

Federal agents are pulling over off duty cops based on the color of their skin.

This is not a serious operation to enforce immigration law. It’s a performative show of force and it’s gotten way out of hand.

I’m a driver. I believe wholeheartedly that pedestrians should always have the right of way. HOWEVER. Please do not run in front of my car so that I do not have enough time to stop without locking it up. The crosswalk will not protect you. I’m trying to save your stupid life. Thanks.

One first step people should do to respond to this is start using the “report a speed trap” function in Apple Maps to report where ICE is operating. Make Apple party to the attempt to protect people.
