I've got to eat a low fat diet all weekend 🙁

Was gonna post about how I've had a good week for the first time in months but then the doctor phoned to say there might be a problem with the chemo I'm having. So they have said to pause the treatment while they do some more tests to make sure it is safe to continue. *sighs*

I hope you will get some money back.

As of this morning, I am halfway through my chemo treatment! Still feels like a long way to go, but it feels good to have reached that milestone.

My game did not make it to the second round of the board game design competition I entered it into.

One thing I miss because of the chemo tablets, is cooking for myself. Which is strange as it wasn't something I particularly loved when I had the energy to do it. But I'd love to cook for myself properly right now.

What does royals change/add? Cockroach Poker is a favourite at our board game club, but I hadn't heard of this version.

I've had another idea for a game - Guillotine meets deck building. Not been this excited by a game idea for quite a while.

I've yet to play it, but I've heard good things about the fate of the fellowship from my local board game club. Although they probably like Pandemic 🙂

I liked Terraforming Mars when I played it. Not played the ares expedition version.

Despite the chemo tablets making in-person gaming impractical, I'm still managing to play board games online. Last night played with two of the guys from local gaming club. Tonight, I'm gaming with colleagues. Makes me feel less isolated.

First dose of chemo tablets after one week off. I forget how horrible they taste.

I entered a card game I've been designing into a board game competition yesterday. I assume I won't be successful, as there are people that will have been entering for years who'd probably know better what judges want, but it was good to have something to do while I was ill and I enjoyed doing it.

He's probably letting others do the running so when there is a leadership election he can say he wasn't disloyal.
