The major issue is that many doctors are terrible at communicating why they did or did not do something.

The other issue is that patients are sometimes in denial, or blinkered, or have a pre-existing agenda.

It’s hard to know what the longer-term future holds, but in 2026 the GOP is fucked.

Wonder if we’ll see a slew of Republican retirements in Congress soon.

You can take it further: sometimes you may get more progressive outcomes from a centrist candidate.

The aggressive gerrymandering stuff that the GOP is doing is undemocratic, unconscionable, and should be illegal.

The upshot is that it’s very hard for us to know who would be a good leader for the Senate Dems because we don’t know the dynamics of the caucus.

That said, I still want AOC to primary him to make sure they get all the message that we will not accept capitulation.

He’s horrendous but senators get 6-year terms so there’s nothing we can do for the next 3 years except to locate and support his replacement.
