It’s Wash Day!

FavHuman is almost constantly moving. Pacing while talking on the phone, standing to eat dinner (yes, even at Thanksgiving), tossing and turning for sleep, etc.

He merely tolerates sitting still long enough to get his hair redone.

And tonight he’s getting at least 6 braids.

I’ve already cut up the meat into bite sized pieces, rendered the fat down, and unintentionally blackened the garlic. The carrots and onions just went in the pot to hopefully brown.

FavHuman forgot beef stock, so I’m soaking dried mushrooms in water and will toss the whole thing in.

For Reasons, FavHuman does the majority of the cooking.

The other night he tortured me with a brisket in the oven for hours.

When it was done, he deemed it edible but too dry.

So I’m making a stew with it!
