Abolish the legal gender marker entirely. No government can be trusted to have a database of which people have changed theirs, no government has any business tracking what your gender is "supposed" to be in the first place.

Building and operating free dorm style housing (bed, desk, communal bathrooms and kitchen) has to be cheaper than clearing out homeless camps and jailing them.

Building functional strength can be frustratingly nuanced. Grinding away primary movements will get you plenty of gains, but being able to identify the accessory movements that target your limiters is close to black magic. Doesn’t help that it needs to be routinely re-evaluated also.

I now realize this is talking about modern slang, but it made me go look up the origin of ship. And the theory that it originated from “scip” which meant “to cut” because early boats were formed but by cutting the middle out of a tree is wild. Humans are weird.

You’re likely not wrong. It’s also probably the most politically challenging as well. Which properties get bought? Where does the capital for the buy out come from? When, where, and how those properties get redeveloped? How do the rents get set?

I wonder if a solution, or part of one, is regulating being able to do cash out mortgages on rental properties. Tenants effectively subsidizing the land lord acquiring more property is pretty absurd. This probably falls apart due to being able to sell between corporations though.

Finding out that the 85th percentile thing was largely vibes based sent me vibrating. No consideration for other land uses, safety of drivers, pedestrians, or anything. Engineers should look at the constraints then design to influence behavior towards those constraints.

The framing is more a single person that claims they are trans but are likely mistaken vs the entire social fabric.

It’s absurd and the goal posts are ever moving and any evidence against their view is dismissed out of hand.

I doubt I touch my profile that often. If I haven’t met you in person I’m not going to interact with you. Just a good way for communicating with people in the scene without giving your number out to everyone.
