I really hate the contradictory statement that art—from big budget films to novels and poems to graphic design—is incredibly easy and cheap to do yet we should also nuke all of our art jobs for AI because it’s so hard and expensive. It’s such an ugly mindset.

It’s an honor system built and defended by and for people who have consistently proven that they cannot be trusted to uphold that system, and then complain loudly when someone even mentions having rules in order to have some accountability in place.
