11.02.2026 19:56 โ ๐ 11817 ๐ 4083 ๐ฌ 83 ๐ 183It's really instructive when you replace "Millennials" with "middle-aged adults" in headlines.
'"Middle-aged adults" are swimming in student debt and may never own homes.'
The picture that's emerging is one of absolute tragedy for the young victims, a teacher, the shooter and her family.
There are unresolved questions here about why/how the guns were returned and what mental health supports were available for a deeply troubled teen.
1) The vast majority of school and mass shooters in North America are overwhelmingly white men
2) Transgender people are far more frequently victims of violent crime
3) even if the inverse of 1) and 2) were true, nobody ever calls for the extermination of all white men after any other mass shooting.
These fucking ghouls out here layering hate onto tragedy for their own disgusting political purposes.
The shooter's gender identity doesn't fucking matter. It only matters to sick fucks trying to exploit a mass tragedy to drive an agenda of hate that will kill more kids.
Monsters, all of them.
a bunch of people who work for AI companies and largely paid in vesting stock options are overwhelmed by the magnitude and depth of what they've created. everyone else is a curmudgeon or otherwise a confused hater. truly this is an irreconcilable intellectual dilemma.

No. Nononononono. It is not built on _knowledge_, it it built on _data_. And not everyone's experiences are available as data, many communities are excluded.

Most allegedly involved errors in which the TruDi Navigation System misinformed surgeons about the location of their instruments while they were using them inside patientsโ heads during operations. Cerebrospinal fluid reportedly leaked from one patientโs nose. In another reported case, a surgeon mistakenly punctured the base of a patientโs skull. In two other cases, patients each allegedly suffered strokes after a major artery was accidentally injured.

Acclarent โknew or should have known that the purported artificial intelligence caused or exacerbated the tendency of the integrated navigation system product to be inconsistent, inaccurate, and unreliable,โ the suit alleges.

Most AI-enabled devices coming to market arenโt required to be tested on patients, according to FDA rules. Instead, makers satisfy FDA rules by citing previously authorized devices that had no AI-related capabilities, says Dr. Alexander Everhart, an instructor at Washington Universityโs medical school in St. Louis and an expert on medical device regulation.
