The next talk, by Issac Karth, was on β€œVivisecting Procgen” and focused on the procedural generation systems in Elite (1984). I didn’t realize how central Elite is in contemporary research on procgen and appreciated the breakdown of the system/seed used to generate the game’s galaxy.
