I like learning and doing math problems, but I get very frustrated/anxious when I don't know what to apply or in what order (and don't really have anyone I can ask).

Thanks! Debating what I want her to be saying, in my mind she's telling someone something they don't want to hear and she's trying to be smart about it (but is a little exasperated at this point).

I don't think I've ever learned so many formulas and concepts in such a short amount of time in my life.

Inked this weeks (over a month?) ago but I'm rarely at my computer for anything other than homework right now (I work full time and I have 18 hours of robotics classes + homework currently).

I'm also currently in physical therapy due to an RSI in my drawing hand. Sharing my work means I'll have a chance of getting away from the my current job. Said job is why I have the RSI, so I would really appreciate it!

Of course! Husband read it as well, and he schooled me when we were talking about it last night (he noticed a bunch of stuff I didn't). So we had a nice night of LITERARY DISCUSSION as well!

But I quite liked it (though I've also watched "Gankutsuou" six times and you've likely never watched it once, so take that into consideration). The comic is VERY surreal at times, but if you like figuring out symbol-and-meaning puzzles in your comic-lit: there's a lot to dig into here. 4/4

The characters are all fleshed out, real people struggling to figure out what they ACTUALLY believe in. It doesn't hurt that they're all drawn in a likable and expressive style; you'll never be guessing how anyone's feeling. Some might find the eye-bleeder coloring/screen-toning to be too much 3/4

My own lack of artistic reciprocity aside: the book is extremely ambitious, experimental, and out there. The plot revolves around an ensemble cast of quietly-queer characters living their lives and trying not to get killed by a serial murderer in a Midwestern town during the '73 oil embargo. 2/4

A few months back, I picked up @dogpoison.industries "A Town Called Collegeville" at a local indy comics event. The author and artist was nice enough to immediately read my WebToon "Vampire Hunter Alone," and I, like a jerk, didn't read their book until just now (in my defense: I do a LOT). 1/4

Saw this while taking a smoke break in the winter forest yesterday. News has reached the creatures of the woodland realm, even.

A variety of stuff from the drawing desk this week: another marker colored page, Tachikoma I drew during robotics class, my husband's better take on a VHA CH. 1 page (now it looks the way it looks in my head!), and more panels for a comic about my fake job!

Kinda hoping it will improve my big-sad mood.

I cannot understand why they subject themselves to it, being that angry all the time HAS to suck.

At work, the MAGA truckers will come out of their trucks (you can hear their Angry Man podcasts blaring from the truck speakers) all fired up and mad at something they just heard about. Then they tell me about how much they don't like immigrants while I try to do their paperwork (it sucks).

Luckily, no.

Though one of my coworkers does consistently run head-first into doors on accident.
