Sometimes it’s hard for people to check their baggage at the door. However, if it’s habitual, preach on! That can get annoying.

This is really cool. I think I would have liked having an agile principled learning experience. Maybe I would have realized my calling as a PM earlier in life.

This is one of those time where I can quote my wife properly, “do you ever think you’re too into your work?” Take this as a positive!

Really like how this challenges “agile as theatre” and brings in industrial quality thinking as a sanity check. If our rituals don’t actually change defect rates, lead time, or learning speed, they’re just comforting noise. (Note: I love the agile way, but sometimes…)

Rollups and time tracking feel like control, but they’re often just faux accounting that pulls us away from real work and outcomes. Loved the focus on capacity as something built over time and the reminder that impact > perfect reports.
