Two things can be true at once:

1. It’s good that Heartstopper is twee & sexless, particularly for younger audiences.

2. It’s bad that the vast majority of mainstream queer stories are twee & sexless because that reinforces the conservative idea of “acceptable homosexuality” rather than normalcy.
