Ask me about Hotel Del Luna, I want everyone to watch it. :) I like cats, art, info about early years education and neurodivergence. And Hotel Del Luna. If I follow you I don't expect you do it back, don't feel like you have to. :)

Greenpeace threatens to sue crown estate for driving up cost of offshore wind Environmental group accuses kingโ€™s property management company of โ€˜milking for profitโ€™ its monopoly ownership of seabed

Only in Britain could the monarch effectively own the sea-bed, and milk it for profit

So much for King Charles' 'green credentials'

This is absolutely outrageous and has to stop

The right-wing campaign group that helped topple Roe v Wade in the US is now working to roll back abortion laws in the UK, with the help of Nigel Farage.

Its first step? Trying to create a debate around "free speech"

The plastic inside us: how microplastics may be reshaping our bodies and minds The particles are in our blood, brains and guts โ€“ and scientists are only beginning to learn what they do

How microplastics may be reshaping our bodies and minds.

โ€œThe particles are in our blood, brains and guts โ€“ and scientists are only beginning to learn what they do.โ€

Microplastics like those from car tires. The bigger and heavier the vehicle, the more microplastics shed.

One of the earliest examples of bar jokes is
Sumerian (c. 4500-1900 BC), and it features a dog: "A dog walked into a tavern and said, 'I can't see a thing. I'll open this one'." The humor of it is probably related to the Sumer way of life and has been lost, but the words remain. (1]

I never really got into MtG so I agree there. Plus my husband did find loads of the old cards and got the new ones, so that worked out!

I also quite like On The Edge. That was easier for me to play and can be a bit silly.

At least she didn't get into Netrunner. It's hard to find the cards (although I think there's a project that makes new cards and keeps it alive?) and every time I try it it fries my brain.

Let's look at how much it costs to produce a button-up shirt in the US. ๐Ÿงต

Britain's youth clubs have been quietly decimated. What's most revealing is that few seem to care | John Harris These vital spaces have been the first targets of cuts in a nation that favours age over youth โ€“ despite being the remedy for blights such as social division, polarisation and loneliness, says Guardia...

Good point, we had a thriving youth work BA where I worked 2007-13, in a cash-strapped northern city. I helped to write and validate a progression MA but it never really took off due to these massive cuts, which never made national headlines.

The problem with left-leaning media is they're intrinsically more strict with their propaganda to only using verifiable sources so it's really hard to poke holes in their ideology and arguments in comparison to a lot of low quality rightwing content.
That makes attacking their points with fact checkers not very effective unless the fact checkers use misinformation tactics as well.
In essence people on the right have to work harder and more creatively to push their agendas as statistics and studies frustratingly arent usually on our side.

When we win: we will haul them before a Senate committee. The masks will come off. There will be consequences.
