I trust my feelings, memories, and experiences to define who I am, what I value, and what I desire. Others may offer insight, but their views are shaped by their own needs. Am I living a simon-pure life or what corrective action will better align me with my principles?

Representative Cleaver is marvelous. I've looked up to him since I was a child and he was my mayor. He even responds to my emails and calls. Senator Hawley’s staff, however (clutching my pearls), never answers emails or returns calls—but somehow finds time to lie on Fox.

I've trusted in the unexpected love that fills the empty spaces in my heart. I forget that trust means surrender; surrender the outcome, that healing happens in its own time. My mind has thrived, not by having all the answers, but by letting go. Still, I struggle to trust I'm where I'm meant to be.
