There is a straight line from what causes this insane double speak from a democratic congressperson to Bari Weiss suffering positive consequences for her genocidal racism for years, leading her to this moment.

I can see a lot of liberals trying their damn best to ignore how we got here. It’s like every week there’s a new fascist disaster whose roots are in anti Palestinian and anti Muslim racism and democrats try their best to remove that context so they don’t have to change their support for that racism.

This is a democratic congressman arguing that there is a genocide in Gaza, but that someone else entirely is “responsible.” This is the kind of white supremacist and psychotic doublespeak that liberals call out when Trump does it. But they’re choosing to be as poisoned by racism as he is.

This is what happens when both liberals and conservatives worked so hard to make dehumanizing racism and violence against Palestinians and Muslims into something with zero consequences whatsoever.

That’s a complicated question. Some like Stephen Miller clearly have subsumed their identity entirely into whiteness, some have mixed the two, some have such a deep “pessimism” that they think American Muslims and activists are either the same fundamental thing as Nazis or even worse.

Classic white supremacy, an “appeal to humanity” that only makes sense if you do not consider Palestinians, and to a lesser extent Muslims, to be human beings.

Look up the JDL. At a time when most Jewish people were quite progressive, there were some people who both worked to enforce segregation and literally bombed Muslim American spaces. It’s not new for some people to be very deeply racist, it’s new for them to be pretending otherwise.

White supremacist women and gay people are in the exact same boat. Some people hate Palestinians, American Muslims, and brown people in general enough to support Hitler saluting psychopaths. The ADL fully signed onto this racism and tyranny and now Trump is done with them and disposing of them.

Their deep and inciting racism and targeting of Muslims and activists is not “a difference.” They are white supremacists and presumably you are not. I don’t support Trump engaging in illegal acts against them or antisemitic attacks against them, like I wouldn’t want that happening to Betar.

The Anti Defamation League is exactly like musk. They are a hate group that took an active role in trump’s fascism, racism, and terrorizing of minority groups, and then he disposes of them when he’s done. They’re as much a watchdog as Project 2025 is.

It would help if we could be clear about things. Zionism is white supremacy, AIPAC is a dark money hate group laundering a literal genocide. People who defend those things create the space for “wink wink” under the table shit where Zionism is conflated with the Jewish people by all sides.

Elite liberalism is just performed powerlessness and performed ignorance, but never in a way that should have consequences or get them replaced by someone better.

So he’s trying to use “blood libel” to defend ICE, and now he’s trying to tell black people born in the US to be grateful for what this country did for them after they “came here” at birth. He’s just racist backwash.

Or when people see things that in twenty years will be understood as institutional racism, unless it’s crude, they will do their damn best to ignore it if it’s convenient.

Hell, even with the genocide in Gaza you have the most powerful liberals basically say “well this can’t be a genocide because if it was, no one in the media or my donors would disagree.” People don’t believe in actual reality, they believe in movie scripts.

What was so different about that wave European fascism was that it did wear uniforms and adopt special names. That’s not normal, and people point out that those policies began in America to get people to realize that it’s the exception, not the rule, for evil to “look the part.”

I feel like a massive part of why we are here is because all of our education about this is so deeply shit. It has become very very clear that people think that when evil or fascism show up, they are twirling mustaches, wearing armbands, and all the institutions you rely on will call them by name.

These landlords are entirely fair game for the local government to go after and if there’s a democratic area they better fucking do it. They chose to board up the home and destroy their belongings, fucking parasites, you can see their love for this fascism.

You would not troll like this if they were selling bombs to Russia to drop on Ukraine so I have to ask why you see Palestinians as lesser or non humans?
