Well no it’s not. Bcos if you think about it, bears DO shit in the woods and the Pope IS a Catholic.

How do you think Scotland feel? They have one flyhalf in the top 1 in the world and no one else in the top 50.

You might think that now but I could easily see them getting dragged in by indiscriminate biscuit begrudgers.

Cyclists routinely run red lights.
In other news, grass is green and the Pope’s a Catholic

A phenomenal piece of journalism. A tragedy though that this level of scrutiny is so rare amongst political interviewers. Nearly all the rest are so easily fobbed off by waffle, and then give up and move on to the next question.

Just thinking. In 2021 Jack Conan was Ireland’s 2nd choice No8, behind CJ Stander. In 2025 he is Ireland’s 2nd choice No8 behind Caelan Doris.
He is about to start his 6th Lions test in a row at No8.

No, never seen it enforced. What I do see is clear outs like Morgan’s allowed throughout every game without a comment

Nothing controversial about it.
Just because biased Aussie commentators are whinging doesn’t
make the decision controversial.

It was a perfect ruck clean out by Morgan. Identical to rucks throughout every game every day. Strong case for Tizzano to be penalised for having his head below his hips.

Hard to think if any player who has been so underrated for so long as Owen Farrell.

I think he’ll persevere with the wingers. I can see a bench including Hansen to cover back 3 and Baby-Faz to cover 10/12.

His defence is not international standard. Yes, his ability to finish opportunities and destroy teams with his running game does warrant him being there. But all round contribution over 80 mins not up to the level of the other wingers in tour.

12.07.2025 19:33 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Yeah, well I’ve seen him go in for a tackle before. But his contribution to defence cant be compared to Lowe, Hansen, Freeman. He is not a great all round player but his scoring rate is ridiculous. He pretty much guarantees tries and deserves to be in the squad for that reason.

My favourite kind of hyperbole is the ridiculous type!

You are entitled to your subjective opinion. (Claims of objectivity here are unconvincing). Anyway I am not basing my views on one game. I watch him play frequently for Edinburgh and Scotland. He is a fantastic winger and athletic freak. But denying his significant limitations just isn’t credible.

Similar to the experience of my nephew. Gave up rugby at uni due to the high concentration of entitled private school idiots and their boorish, loutish behaviour when drunk. Played lacrosse for 3 years then joined a local rugby club after uni. And this is a lad who enjoys a piss up!

Duhan can’t catch, can’t tackle and doesn’t pass. He is often in the wrong place defensively and slow to adjust. His carries are usually pointless, lateral affairs, which end with him dying with the ball.
But he is a try scoring MACHINE and often scores absolutely ridiculous tries.

For example, they love to insert swearing into other words at random. Su-fookin-perb, abso-fookin-lutely, etc.
In Ireland you really can’t trust someone who doesn’t swear.

16.06.2025 20:58 β€” πŸ‘ 2    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Yeah it’s hard to put it to a battle without offending someone. Scots do have great creativity and humour with the swearing. The Irish swearing is more integral, used more liberally, casually and for no reason at all.
