Tweet from Acyn showing a quote exchange:
Padilla: “Do you believe government officials are obligated to follow court orders whether they agree with them or not?”
Bondi: “I wish you loved your state of California as much as you hate President Trump.”
Padilla: “I asked a simple yes or no question.”

Bondi also wouldn’t answer whether she’d seen photos of Trump in the Epstein files around half naked girls, as a witness alleged they’d seen. She must resign.

Nothing says "I want independent judges" like threatening to sack any judge who disagrees with you, while holding up a judge's wig like a puppet

The not so subtle message from him and others has become that it’s OK to hate people who are different because ”we” are the special ones and it’s “our” country. Views that used to be regarded as extreme are becoming normalised. The government shares in the blame for this.

Surely neither Jenrick nor anybody else can get away with the old “I’m not a racist but…” nonsense. Has he ever stopped to think why it is that people with darker skin than his sometimes prefer to live in proximity to each other rather than in proximity to the likes of him?

What a surprise! After 14 years of Tory government there’s nothing left for local authorities to cut.

Why is none of this Trump lunacy reported by UK mainstream media?

The exercise of administrative power can be malicious. The tone comes from the top. It seems to be happening every day in the USA. Removal of the option of legal challenge makes it all the more likely. The right relies on the rest of us thinking “It couldn’t happen here.” It could, very easily.

The Met condemned the Palestine Action demonstrations for taking officers away from protecting the Jewish community. I’d understood the Met set their own priorities. Do they not think that protecting people from terrorists is more important than arresting people for sitting about holding placards?

Is there a little known Amendment to the US Constitution that prevents members of the press from asking the President tough and follow up questions?
A "What the f*ck are you on about?" a "Why do you lie all the time?" or a "Are you bonkers?" would be very welcome.

It’s a mystery to me how people as naive (insert your own preferred adjective if you think naive is a tad fence-sitting) as Mone and Barrowman made so much money before they decided to benefit from the fast lane nonsense.

We just have to get used to Reform lying, lying and lying again. It’s the old tactic: tell enough lies enough times and many will become seen as being true by enough gullible voters.

According to Farage, calling racists racists imperils their safety. Free speech? As if he cares.

From this side of the Atlantic the likelihood of a free and fair Presidential election in 2028 is somewhere between nil and zero.

If scrapping indefinite leave to remain (ILR) entirely, as Reform would do, is racist, according to Labour, what is making ILR twice as difficult, expensive & humiliating to obtain, as Labour are doing?

The Trump regime is like McCarthyism on steroids - and at the same time Trump and his stooges claim to be the world’s greatest ever supporters of free speech. Will the USA understand before it’s too late? Will there be anything that vaguely looks like a free and fair Presidential election in 2028?

Will anyone in the UK media ask Farage a few questions on his next week of media rounds?

Thought not.
