Our data suggest a simple peri-transplant change to Ξ²1-selective inhibitors (Carvedilol->Metoprolol) could mitigate this effect. Our findings were consistent at UTSW and @vumc.bsky.social, but validation at other centers promises to identify patients for whom this is most relevant.
