I went to my Congressman's local office today. First off, they were surprised that I was there. They said they had been getting phone calls, but I was the first walk-in. That said, the phones were not ringing off the hook. If the DC phone lines are busy, try calling the local office.

If they threaten you with arrest for trying to access a site you are lawfully entitled to access, YOU MAKE THEM FUCKING ARREST YOU.

This is a private company taking over a federal agency, with no authority to do so. Why does anyone think their rights are being protected? “Two top security officials at the independent agency were removed after they refused access to” Musk employees. This is gone past “unprecedented.”

The guy who manufactured the outrage against Critical Race Theory and Elon Musk are now just simply firing non-whites and non-males in the federal government.

The only way through is to defend the rights of every marginalized group, every damn time.

The last resistance movement was hugely effective, Democrats beat Trump in 2020 and won sweeping victories in the 2018 midterms. “The resistance didn’t work” has become this line everyone repeats and it makes no sense

Over the next however many days/weeks, as various elected officials scramble to "save" TikTok so they don't alienate 170 million people, please remember that almost every single one of them were involved in creating this situation in the first place.
