We leave for London tomorrow.

I'm missing the Xena Christmas episode now. Maybe I dig that out and watch that this holiday season.

I know I've shared about this before but as the shutdown goes on, it continues to leave Pez in a VERY uncertain position. If you can spare, any help is greatly appreciated - and if you can't, even just a share helps.

I counted at least 15 inflatables at our local protest today. I was there until I hit the overstimulated point and now I am back home to work on kitchen organization (the unpacking continues) but I showed up!

I technically did 3 boxes tonight. Granted one whole box was JUST the carpet cleaner vacuum BUT the 2 others were dishpacks which should count as like 3 boxes each, IMO.

I do not have a door on my pantry and I LOVE how it just feels like an extension of the kitchen.

Granted I did just put the wall oven and microwave in there...

I need to unpack another 3 boxes in the kitchen tonight, at least. The backsplash is like, 90% done but we're going to have to wait on tile to finish it because REASONS but anyway it's fine. The carpet in the media room is almost done.

It's such a throwback to the Sharks days except I am less emotionally invested this go around, haha.

Last May (April?) I got to see actual pink in person in the sky with my naked eye and I felt so lucky. (It still didn't look like this but that's okay.)

For the record, my husband is like "why are you showing me what the light switches at the bottom of the stairs do" and I didn't commit crimes.

This was a great day to move home and try to find a bar to go out for a celebratory drink at, anyway I may have accidentally launched my gin hour to start working through my collection thanks to bartenders wanting a distraction from the game.

In January, I'm not that much of a masochist.

Bree I was sitting next to someone from this area also named Bree (spelled differently) and getting progressively tipsier and then we got shots on the house because they won so. I feel this.

FWIW I am a) not a baseball fan, just live in Seattle adjacent territory and b) watched the last part of this game through distracting a bartender and that was enough.

I have zero idea what the crowd sounded like when the Mariners did the thing and that's mostly because the boss at the bar came out and poured shots for everyone when it happened.

Which, tbf, was us and the staff. 😂

Tomorrow we pack, and then Friday we move back to the house.

I can listen to the entirety of the soundtrack that matters between the rental house and my house, one direction.

I have not listened to anything else on that drive this summer.

I did order the pocket door locks for the two bathrooms and a pull for the primary suite (there are reasons why a lock will probably not work there) and then I looked at sheets and I probably still need to do other things tonight but.

Am I vaguely staring at the list of everything that needs to happen in the next week and trying not to curl up into a fetal position? Yes.
