The Cuyahoga Arts and Culture board just approved $615k of public grant money for Ideastream to continue its hostile takeover of the radio dial. We will not let those complicit in its annual operations get away with this, and we will continue to transform our frustration and sadness into hope.

Record Numbers of Younger Women Want to Leave the U.S. The percentage of younger women in the U.S. who express a desire to migrate permanently has surged in the past decade.

"In 2025, 40% of women aged 15 to 44 say they would move abroad permanently if they had the opportunity. The current figure is four times higher than the 10% who shared this desire in 2014, when it was generally in line with other age and gender groups."

Estimates place CAC's funding / donations to IdeaStream Public Media at over a half a million dollars a year !

They are an important underwriter of IdeaStream's content

So sending a message to them regarding their funding of IdeaStream re: #WCSB #XCSB radio takeover is important !

To register for public comment at a Cuyahoga Arts and Culture board meeting, you must present in person and sign up in a logbook at the beginning of the meeting by providing your name, address, and the topic you wish to discuss. Please arrive early to find and sign the logbook to register on-site for public comments.

The next Cuyahoga Arts & Culture (CAC) Board of Trustees meeting is scheduled for November 12, 2025, at 4:00 PM.

The meeting will be held at the Cleveland Public Library, Louis Stokes Wing, on the 2nd Floor Learning Commons.

It's got over 2000 followers who are important to me,
And many accounts I follow who are also very important to me,
The account has existed for over 10 years !

Initially I thought that X just had a technical glitch
That erroneously turned on two factor

And now I can't use the phone number to recuperate my main account.

Which appears to have been hacked, since two factor authentication has been turned on, password changed,
And I don't recognize the recovery email address.

The rub is that I removed my phone number from my main account in order to try to disambiguate recuperation of my pro account by only having my phone number in that account

I lost my professional Twitter account a couple weeks ago.
Probably got reported by Ideastream supporters
And I forgot to change my email in the account when I changed workplace
