Loving my experience with Linux which is now my daily driver.
For programming it's so much of an easier place to code and it absolutely flies.
Microsoft made this a really easy choice with their Windows 11 Registration shenanigans. Thank you Microsoft.

That ending never gets old.
Going to kick the tyres on Halo again my my steam deck I think.

A bit like the bad ending of moonraker then?

So why do I want to grind through something that isn't clicking with me? But I still do. Maybe it's because it's unfinished business?

I always wanted to play all the halo games just so I can say I have and have an informed opinion. I know the combat and the story seems to have a good reputation but when I played halo 1 and halo 2 back in the day, the story didn't do anything for me, and the gunplay wasn't that satisfying.

I bought the halo series on steam some time ago. I remember absolutely losing the plot in Halo 2 and then tuning out of the series entirely. Planning to use chatgpt to explain the series story to me. Not even sure if I understand halo 1 to be honest. Am I uniquely lost here?

I shook hands with Dirk Benedict today. I really wish I had more time with him. He was still full of charisma. Some people just have it.

Just catching the end of this now, but it's another absolute cracker from Mulgrave. Stitched together with obvious love and packing a particular emotional wallop for we increasingly tatty-looking children of the 1970s.

I've been away from the Adventuron world for a little while and recently revisited the forums. Feels good to see comments like this happening organically without solicitation however I know Adventuron can be a lot better, and a lot easier to use.

I prefer to assume corruption rather than incompetence. But who knows? It could be both.

I bought Sphera and was so disappointed. I had no idea that the Sam basically couldn't scroll in full colour. The best Sam games were the ones that didn't scroll at all. Manic miner for example. Amazing and played to the sams strengths.

Is it possible to actually drown in nostalgia? Has it always been this way in middle age, or is the internet making is more chronic over time?

Sphera was a huge disappointment when it arrived in my house. Terrible gameplay, mode 2 not mode 4 except for bosses, it wasn't played for very long - not when the finest version of Manic Miner was on the same platform.

Adventuron works around this rate limit somewhat by categorising commands as sync or async commands. If a loop has one or more async then it has to use a callback otherwise it iterates conventionally.
