I saw a TT this morning where the person rented out a huge fenced field for an hour so her greyhound could really stretch her legs and get a good safe run in.

The dog was utterly offended and spent the entire hour by the gate waiting to go home.

If you are going to your parents’ for thanksgiving this is your reminder that their dishwasher filter probably needs to be cleaned and it’s probably easier if you do it before it runs for two days straight

(I adore my vacuum sealer and look forward to the day I upgrade to the fancier one with more options)

My big tip is writing how many are in the pack on it with sharpie because it doesn’t matter that I’ve always done packs of 8, I will question it every time

I always get a huge bag of corn tortillas and then portion them out, vacuum seal, and freeze them. They thaw out perfect.

Oh also - get this - excellent freshly-made corn tortillas at Coombs market. Not cheap but totally worth it.

You hold on to that place and never let it go because good Mexican is fleeting.

We used to drive to Bellingham when we absolutely needed an old school, multi-coloured chairs, Pizza Hut plastic cups, giant plate of rice & refried beans Mexican.

And a lack of good Mexican food
