I am not interested in hearing about how thats a mischaracterization of the party when you're telegraphing you're going to have a fascist candidate for President, and I can point to all these Democrats in office that need to be primaried because they vote to fund ICE, and seat Trump judges.

Democrats on bluesky being like 'we can't defeat fascism unless you accept our candidates having a little fascism.'

If they won't stand against genocide abroad, they aren't going to stand against ethnic cleansing at home. Wise up.

The ones that are left after the previous Biden-Harris administration you mean.

Oh Gavin Newsom goes on a nazi podcast to tell nazis how he agrees with them about my rights, but I should definitely show up when he's shoved at me during the general because the alternative is *you would use someone elses deaths to shame me* for your own ghoulishness.

You know, when people are providing 2000lb bombs that are being dropped on your family, I personally think its gauche to be lecturing them about how they should have voted to reduce harm. I voted for Harris, but you guys really know how to appeal to voters and win elections. Top notch.

More to the point children would still be being put in cages, you just wouldn't have to hear about it.

If Obama hadn't made fun of Trump at the correspondents dinner they would still be alive too. Isn't this great?

So national security hinges on the rape of children is the hill they want to die on.

Man I'm so goddamn sick of ai. "Wahhh you can't have a reasonable conversation about ai on here," yeah maybe be mad about the two year parade of scam artists and financial charlatans and environmental ruiners who have radicalized everyone against the spell check that agrees with you

It's just a sports ban.
It's just a bathroom ban.
It's just a healthcare for kids ban.
It's just a military service ban.
It's just a federal jobs ban.
It's just a university housing ban.
It's just a passport & visa ban.
It's just one Constitutional right.
It's just your status as free citizens.

We are about to see just how badly we got sold out by the democrats

The β€œdrawdown” was and is counter insurgency in an effort to give the national level Dems cover to fund ice and keep the fascists government running.

Useless fucking opposition party.

There has ALWAYS been money to fund the military, under both kinds of administrations, to engage in overseas adventures, but somehow, when it comes to making sure schools are funded, people make a living wage, you don't go bankrupt if you get sick, ... well, we have Romneycare, if we can keep it.

12.02.2026 19:56 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

No of course, they are just powerless in the face of Republican opposition. And they've been powerless for fifty years.

Give me a break.

12.02.2026 19:51 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Do you have an increased minimum wage? Have caps on social security taxable income raised? Are the wealthy being taxed at pre-Reagan levels? Do you have universal healthcare?

I wonder why.

12.02.2026 19:50 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

If you want to look for who to blame for the rise of Trump, they're standing right there, telling you to send them more money so they can *not fix the problems they are telling you to vote for them to fix*.

12.02.2026 19:45 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

And yes, I said neoliberals because Democrats have presided over an enormous shrinking of social programs and policies (vis a vis means testing) that protected the working class from oligarchs. They are exactly the reason we have a populist sentiment today.

12.02.2026 19:44 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

They are well versed in median voter theory. If they lose an election, its much more on them and their campaign than anyone on social media. And the game-ification of subjects like shipping 2000 lb fuel-air explosives to Israel is frankly disgusting. You *can not support this*. It discredits you.

12.02.2026 18:36 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Thats why when they stake out these positions, they are doing math, saying 'I can afford to lose these votes.' They say they can afford to lose people over genocide. They are the experts, they are making a decision that support for genocide is the better option.

12.02.2026 18:34 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

So if we make this about 'genocide' then what about all the voters who insist that their government participate in it, rather than demand their candidate move on that single issue. Are they not single issue voters then?

The candidate has all the power in that situation.

12.02.2026 18:32 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

You can dismiss any issue by accusing the person who says 'this is my line, if you cross it you lose my support' of being a single-issue voter. But it ignores the reality that the candidate who won't meet that voter is also saying "I won't reconsider this one thing."

Is that why she lost? Oh, probably not. The American electorate runs on vibes. But that being the case, my vote for a hypothetical Newsom isn't going to make or break elections we probably won't have in 2028 either.

I have fascism now, if this messaging strategy worked, we wouldn't be here. These same arguments were trotted out in 2015. We said 'don't run Clinton, she's controlled by corporations and never met a drone strike she didn't like.'

I voted for her, she still lost. How'd that work out?
