Maybe snow was just ordinary fun for us? Maybe strikes aren’t something discussed in front of us? We never went hungry. But I do remember being cold. Living with no central heating. Mum would out a fan heater on in our bedroom before bed. Hugely expensive these days.

My question is, how will labour check that a woman is not a trans woman? Will all women have to prove their sex at birth?

If I was a labour member there would be no way I would attend whilst this discrimination exists.

Those terms are definitely out of date. And it’s mostly done online. Non compliance would be dealt with by more than one person. And I think terms like ‘junior’ went out with the ark.

I’ve smoked since I was 17. I’m 60 now. No smoking related health problems thus far. If it happens it will be bad but fast.

Actually it was more of a collective gasp, but I was trying to type quickly on my phone. And it was an extremely audible audience gasp.

I’m def addicted. But I have no plans to give up and no reasons to. I accept the risks. Have no dependants. But I don’t want to impose it on others. It’s my thing.

I am a smoker. And I was already going outside restaurants for a smoke before this law came in. I was a bit gutted personally, but could see the sense. But I always tried to respect others, and not just about smoking.

He didn’t make many friends tonight in Dover. Strange that Dover where the boats land are mostly supportive of asylum seekers and immigrants (it’s not strange, they are ordinary compassionate people - very British value).
