It didn’t work. He looked like a well meaning parish councillor trying to get heard. I think we can agree that PMQs isn’t the best debate format, but his attempts to make it an open public forum were quickly batted away with ease. It did not work and was quite embarrassing.

I understand what he was trying to do, but it didn’t work. Of course the Pm dodges those questions, that’s what PMQs is about, the leader of the opposition should be challenging them on the major issues, individual constituents questions got lost in the process which is where it didn’t work.

He would specifically read out a list of questions from the public and request an answer on behalf of them. The questions were universally ignored amidst all the Parliamentary blather. It didn’t work, that’s not what the session is for.

Just remembered when Corbyn tried to turn PMQs into a public phone in. God it was awful!
