It's disheartening to learn that wood burning hasn't decreased at all since the adoption of other fuel sources, and same with coal & gas. It implies that although we may build heaps of renewable energy supply, the demand will just increase to absorb that supply. Doesn't feel bad-faith at all to me.

I think the yammering is because they want drivers to form an emotional connection with the station. As to why it has to be unfunny, I dunno. Maybe it's hard to be funny for 3 hours every day after getting up at 4am?
