Conservation officers now believe the recent bear attack on a school group involved a grizzly sow and her cubs.

Good article. The Bella Coola grizzly attack was tragic, but having trophy hunters kill non problematic bears will not solve the problem. Habitat loss, acclimation to humans and their food are far more of a problem than stopping hunters from bagging a bear for a rug.
