When is the usa the greatest? as a Gen Xer all I have seen is our country constantly eroding. I was making almost double the current minimum wage at 18 in 1995 as a janitor.
We have not been improving.

I think too many of us are forgetting that democracy is a group project--so yeah America failed. Americans failed.
We can keep failing or we can figure out how to actually do the assignment.

We do not have to forgive this. Some atrocities should not be forgiven. The whole idea of forgiveness has been weaponized to keep abusers in power.
We have peace when we don't forgive and hold people accountable.
