I caught my first ever look at Mercury (when I knew I was seeing it, anyway) tonight! Thank you @philplait.bsky.social for helping me find it! You can see it just peeking between the power lines in this shot!

Patricia Ravine Footbridge The footbridge in Patricia Ravine just south of Patricia Heights School

The day I took these photos, I slid off my bike on this bridge and bruised my ribs. That sucked, but otherwise I had a really good day.

I am undertaking a project to photograph every bridge in my city. I don't know for sure how many there are, but a look through the Google satellite view makes it seem like there are 150 to 200. You might not agree with all my definitions or what makes a bridge. Maybe we'll figure that out together.

A drink in a Double Old Fashioned glass with a large ice cube. The drink is generally a golden colour with a reddish tinge as a float on top. The drink sits on a coaster on a tiled coffee table.

I haven't posted a drink picture since, well, I wasn't on Bluesky. This is The Stark. It comes from the Petraskeverse. Basically, it's a bourbon sour with Yellow Chartreuse and a float of Angostura Bitters. Would make again!

Straight facts. What other 5 year period was it more fun to be a West Ham supporter?

So for some reason, 80's pop/rock is my real Christmas music. I'm talking Tears for Fears, Blondie, the Police and so on. I have a playlist created by the algorithm based on Everybody Wants to Rule the World going, and I can't tell you how festive it makes me feel!
