We raised over $6,800 from more than 190 donors. This is a local campaign, powered by New Haveners. Every donation came from a city resident and none came from lobbyists.

I’m so proud to live in a city that shows up for our immigrant neighbors and stands up to the cruelty of ICE. If we keep speaking out, organizing, and fighting back, we will win. Thank you to 50501, Westville Indivisible, and others for yesterday’s powerful rally.

Thank you!
I’m most proud of passing the Downtown for All affordable housing law, raising housing code fines, and pushing to improve literacy and attendance in our schools after COVID.

During my time on the Board, I focused on three goals:
• Improving neighborhood safety
• Making New Haven more affordable
• Expanding economic opportunity for all
Protecting our community from the Trump administration has also been a key priority.

Thank you to my colleagues, Mayor Elicker, Clerk Smart, and city staff. Most importantly, thank you to the residents of Ward 7—for your trust, support, and partnership. It has been an honor to serve alongside you.
5/
I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to serve my hometown for the past six years. Working alongside such kind, hard-working, and inspiring alders taught me so much about public service, how to build coalitions, and what makes New Haven special.
4/
I’ll be continuing my work as Legislative Coordinator at CT Voices for Children and on the board of New Haven Legal Assistance. While leaving the Board is bittersweet, this move feels like the right step as I look ahead to graduation.
3/
I’ll be moving out of Ward 7 (to Willard St in Westville) to start a new chapter of life. Because of that, I sadly won’t be able to continue serving as alder—but I’ll still be in town and plan to stay involved.
2/
Thank you, New Haven, for six years working the best job I’ve ever had.
Yesterday, I announced that I will not be taking office for the new Board of Alders term. After a lot of thought, I’ve decided to move, as I look toward graduating from law school in the spring.

There’s still much more to do—on homelessness, tenants’ rights, and homeownership—but Downtown for All is a crucial step toward the affordable city we deserve. I’m so grateful to all the advocates and leaders who helped us win this important reform. Thank you, and happy holidays!
