Alaska Gov. Dunleavy has extended the Oct. 9 disaster declaration to include Yupitt, Pribilof Island, and Lower Kuskokwim Regional Education Attendance Areas.

The State Emergency Operations Center says U.S. Coast Guard has been deployed to Kipnuk and Kwigillingok to assist with search and rescue.

Whistling when ICE is about to kidnap someone for no reason is incredibly effective. They know what they are doing is wrong and will scatter in the wind when too many witnesses gather.

Unless I’m misreading, this short statement actually seems equivocal or at best a placeholder. It does not say they are refusing, and to the contrary seems to hold the door open.

The government is in full shutdown and the Republicans are refusing to call the House back into session.
