A detailed astrophotograph of the Triangulum Galaxy (M33), a spiral galaxy seen nearly face-on against a field of countless stars. Its bright yellow-white core fades into loosely wound spiral arms with blue star-forming regions and a distinct pink nebula, NGC 604, near the upper right of the core. The background is deep black, dotted with sharp points of starlight.

One of the most distant objects visible to the naked eye under very dark skies (~2.7 million ly away).

🔭Captured last summer with my 130/900 Newtonian and a Sony A7S / 24 hours total integration.
