I feel for you. It felt like you were the one of us who made it over the trenches. A writer who kept writing because they loved it. Someone who doesn’t have a radio show because their parent worked at the BBC or went to the right school. Some who got there on being an amazing writer.

I’m so sorry. I spent years writing a sitcom about a couple who have a shed with a portal to Mars in their garden. I thought it was original and then Amazon made a series called Night Sky with Sissy Spacek and J.K. Simmons about a couple with a portal to a planet in their backyard.

I remember the 1st craft of comedy conference I went to in Wales and every panel of the day was with experienced people who said “Don’t try, it’s never gonna happen.” It was so depressing.

I really worry about care workers during the continuing issue of not being able to get your TfL's journey history. When most employers will only reimburse travel costs if proof of the journey history is given, and it can cost about £12 a day to travel, this is a massive drain on their pay.
