Not that I know of, but that would be good. I’ve seen union flags that have “refugees welcome” on them though. And people will fly rainbow flags at counter protests - just the normal Pride ones. We don’t seem to have a nationally agreed alternative though.

I wish we could use British flags but the other side have well and truly claimed them. If we used them we’d intimidate the people we’re trying to support.

This is a lot like the counter-protests against the right wing in the UK are like (on a smaller scale.) We forget to chant because we’re too busy chatting! I’m disappointed that I’ll miss the one that’s on this weekend because I was hoping to catch up with a former colleague and talk about work.

I had that a long time after we lost my brother. I didn’t want to drive (driving is as dangerous as my life gets.) The feeling has lessened as time has gone on. I hope it does for you too. The trouble is, life IS precarious and bad things can happen. It’s hard to learn to life with that.
