Alberta thinks that if it secedes to become a "51st state," they would be another Montana or Wyoming.

No, they would be another Puerto Rico. Or Guam. Nothing more than a U.S. territory which would be exploited while having no rights as a state.

Do Albertans not understand that?

An estimated 15.7 million workers use SNAP. It’s a lifeline for those in low-wage jobs.

Meanwhile, CEOs are paid 280x as much as the typical worker.

Don’t be angry at workers for using food stamps.

Be angry at the corporations paying them so little that they need them.

What an absolute horror, this data collected by Canadians while textbooks spoke of similar atrocities by the 'evil' Nazis towards their prizoners in Germany. Gross.

To think we read and hear documentaries speaking of similar atrocities by the Nazis. I consider myself fairly well educated on Canadian history, this is a horror towards the indigenous kids that I had not heard of, thank you for sending out another teaching. So much more to learn.

'An utter failure:' UCP government announces yet another committee Danielle Smith herself said it would be “an utter failure” to have the government build a project like this, and yet here we are.

A committee can't build a pipeline, especially when there's no route, no proponent, and no real funding. There’s also no commitment from the federal government to repeal the legislation that would make this pipeline possible.

In Danielle Smith's own words, this is an 'utter failure.'
